How Much Water Should You Drink Daily?
Many articles have been written telling the effects on health of not drinking enough water.
I don't need to repeat their warning here, except to say that when you don't drink enough water, every bodily function is impaired.
In other words, the more water you drink, the better your body will be able to function, and eliminate harmful substances.
They have even recently discovered that people that don't drink enough water gain weight. Why is this? It's because fat cannot be completely converted to energy without adequate water in the body.
Most people do not drink enough liquids. Health authorities reccommend these minimums for daily consumption of liquids, whether it be coffee, tea, juice, water, etc.
For instance, a 150 pound person doing average physical activity needs 64 ounces of liquid per day, or about 8 ounces of liquid. A 150 pound person doing strenous labor needs 12 - 8 ounces glasses a day, and don't wait till the evening to drink them all.
